phill, i want to see that as well. also, tarantino and scorcese both have movies coming out. suspiria remake, i'm curious about. i love the shit out of suspiria, and i love david gordon green, but i don't get these remakes of horror classics.

I was shown the new Tarantino trailer. It didn't impress me. Too over the top and very unrealistic. I'm sure that is one of his aims but I like realistic WWII stories. I can't stand the remakes either. Especially the 50's sci-fi flicks, Day the Earth Stood Still, War of the Worlds. Those films worked in the 50's and have been ruined with this gloomy CGI vision. I don't know why but CGI always comes off very fake dark to me.

grrrrr....tree of life won't be out until 2010. malick! i agree with everything above regarding remakes, but david gordon green hasn't let me down so....
at least we have the new scorSese to look forward to.

herzog has a movie coming out this year. mic cage is in it and he kinda blows lately, but herzog is herzog so i'm excited.
