I just got back from seeing Dillinger Is Dead, a sick Italian film. I had to miss tonight's Blue Velvet which I was bummed about but this was worth it. I Dillinger Is Dead about a while ago at a rare screening in Rochester. I guess this flick is hardly ever played in the States. They might still be playing it at BAM this week. It's a strange one but tons of symbols.

i think this thread should end. i'm glad it got some conversations going, but people should start individual threads about individual movies, directors, etc., so discussions start up from there. with this current format, the discussions don't have time to go anywhere, because they'll always get cut off by something else, relatively quickly. for example, the kazan thread should have been it's own thing, and while it seems like a lot of people have seen the wrestler, that conversation hasn't really moved beyond the "what was the last movie you saw?" question. what do you all think? end of this thread?
